We have a lively social calendar culminating in our ever-popular Stockwell Park Summer Festival weekend, held in June.

Burns Night Celebrations – Friday, February 1

Stockwell Reels was started in 2012 by Gill Wayne and Trisha Tomlinson to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Still going strong and now in its eighth year, we are delighted to say that the 'Burns Night' evening will be held on Friday 1st February in St Michael's Church Hall from 7pm - 10pm.

We will have Lindsey Rousseau again to give us some guidance, plus live accompaniment from The Borderline Band, a piper and all the traditional Burns Night trimmings.

Everyone is welcome - newcomers are encouraged - there is no expectation of standard, just to be prepared to have a crack and have some fun.  Odd numbers are as welcome as pairs and we encourage both enthusiastic watchers and novices too and, just as it is not exclusively for Scots, it naturally does not need to be confined to Stockwellians.

As usual, it is bring your own drinks and nibbles and it's £10 for tickets on the door.

Please send an email to the team to secure a ticket: reels@stockwellpark.com

Payment will be taken in cash on the door on the night, but do please respond so that we can get an idea of numbers.

Summer Festival, June

We run a popular Summer Festival every year in mid-June.

Our Summer Festival has its own organising committee too. If you would like to get involved or provide feedback, please email festival@stockwellpark.com.

AGM and Drinks night

The Hut, Slade Gardens Adventure Playground

The AGM is held in November each year.

The SPRA AGM and Drinks is the annual opportunity to talk over local issues and meet neighbours and friends, old and new. The formalities of the meeting are kept as brief as possible so that it can be adjourned in time for everyone to enjoy meeting other SPRA area residents, when wine and soft drinks are available.

A copy of the Association’s newsletter Spark will be delivered to each household in the area at the beginning of November. It will contain the agenda, the annual report of the activities of the Association and reports from other local groups who are so important to the life of the area.

Advent and Christmas Music

St Michael's Church

We typically have a carol service and a concert including other Advent and Christmas music in December.
